Frank Domanski, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, is a self-taught artist with several award-winning paintings to his credit. Frank has been painting for more than 25 years, and after trying all mediums, settled early with oils. His focus has been on detail — a lot of it. He has painted a wide range of subjects from portraits and figures to wildlife, citiscapes, beach scenes as well as still lifes. His favorite canvas size is 24 x 36-inch, but he has done several larger sizes, as well as a 16 x 9-foot mural.
“A painting can take anywhere from a week to six weeks or more, depending on detail,” replied Mr. Domanski, after being asked about the amount of time a painting takes. “I especially like close up detail. I also like to paint with the seasons.”
In Delaware, as well as Ohio, Mr. Domanski has had multiple showings of his art.
